Ann Clifford
Ann works as a writer mainly for film and TV, is a passionate film-maker and is one third of Eagle Films, unusually an all-women film production company.
Ann began her writing career as a playwright with plays touring South Africa, Europe and the West End Fringe. As a stage director she has been involved in bringing many shows to a variety of audiences.
During her MA in Screenwriting (2002) Eagles Films completed their first film, of which she was the writer, Let’s Do Lunch a 12 minute comedy short which was officially selected for film festivals in London and Los Angeles and well received by BAFTA. She wrote Shaking Dream Land a feature film produced by Eagle Films starring Philip Winchester (Flyboys, Thunderbirds) and Jesper Christensen (Casino Royale, The Interpreter) which was sold to US sales agents LifeSize Entertainment and released on DVD April 2007. It is now available from Eagle Films UK. It was chosen for inclusion in the Chichester Film Festival 2007.
Ann is now part of Bless Community Church in West London where she contributes as part of the Leadership Team. An enthusiastic photographer many of her pictures are included in HOPE 2008, an inspirational resource book.
She is married to Steve and has two amazing adult children Jake and Jordan.
