Latymer CF partner with Eden Project

We are excited to announce the arrival of Eden Notting Barns! This is the result of a partnership between Eden (which grew out of The Message Trust in Manchester) and ourselves, the Latymer Christian Fellowship. Eden Notting Barns seeks to work with the church to fulfil its vision to see this deprived community transformed as the lives of young people living on the estates are themselves transformed through meeting Jesus. One of the core values of Eden is that of ‘incarnational living’ which includes living amongst those with whom we seek to share the Gospel. Jamie Sewell has started work as the Eden Team Leader and together with his wife, Becci have moved onto one of our local estates. We pray that they will be joined over the next year to eighteen months by about 10 volunteer team members who will also move onto these estates to share their lives with the wonderful young people, their families and friends in this area.

 
Both Jamie and Becci said “after two weeks of living here we are feeling excited about what God has in stall for Lancaster West and Silchester Estates. Please pray that we connect with our neighbours and for wisdom as we plan our strategy for meeting the needs of the community and reaching them with the Gospel.”
