Inspire Together Day Review #3

The Inspire Together day was a fantastic time of sharing, worshipping, praying and eating as many churches from across the Inspire Network got together. It was particularly great for folks from Hertford Community Church as got to welcome everyone to our little corner of the world as the day was held at a local secondary school in Hertford.

Guys from our fellowship particularly enjoyed the worship times with Godfrey Birtill and hearing about what other church fellowships are doing and seeing in their areas. It was great fun to be prayed for in the ‘tunnel’ as well and my friend’s five year old commented that it looked brilliant and we should always pray for people that way from now on!

Another particular highlight for me was seeing some of our young people serve by preparing and dishing out the burgers and buns for the end of the day BBQ! Some of these guys only came to know Jesus this summer and it was awesome to see them getting stuck in to serving straight away!

I think it really says something about the strength of relationship across the whole of Pioneer that other guys from other networks came to serve us on the day (by running kidswork, speaking etc) so that all of Inspire could just turn up and ‘be’. It will be a privilege to serve them on their network days and build those relationships even further.

All in all, a massive thank you to all those who did such a great job organising it and biggest praise and thanks to God for keeping the rain off until we were all inside! I can’t wait to do it again and it made me realise afresh how exciting and life-giving it is when the people of God come together and celebrate His goodness in each of our lives.
