French church Plant

Open Heaven Church in Loughborough currently have a team of 7 adults (3 married couples and one single girl) and 3 kids (aged 3, 2, and 3 months)  who are heading to Annecy, France in the summer of 2011.

As a church we have been praying for France for many years now and have been visiting Annecy regularly for the last few years. We are currently sending a short-term over there every 3 months.

Our passion is to see people come to know Jesus - particularly in the 18s-30s age range, as that is the life-stage we are at as a team. Our strategy is to make disciples and to train and equip them to do church in their own culture and their way - and to assist them and inspire them in doing that. We want there to be many expressions of "church" that spring up in Annecy that are accessible to this age-group.
