Tales of a TroubadourDear friends, travellers, shipmates,
I'm writing to
let you know about a unique initiative that could be a helpful resource for
your church and/or community. As I travel I find many churches across the
country are looking for different kinds of tools and events to engage with
people and use as part of their evangelistic strategy.
Being a musician I am continually fascinated by the way music and
stories connect with people on a deep level. When carried by the presence
of God they have the power to reawaken and to stir people from all walks of
life. These last few years have been a time of developing new expressions
and ways of communicating the timeless message of God's love and compassion
to others.
As a result "Tales of a Troubadour" was launched this summer onboard the
famous HMS President moored on the river Thames. A one-man performance of
songs, storytelling and multi-media visual projections and sound.
The 1st half majors on my early life in London, finding faith and
becoming a musician, the 2nd half concentrates on the outworking of that
faith and stories from my travels. All this is mixed in with songs - some
of my own and some mainstream radio songs which have been an inspiration to
my journey.
The night was such a success that I have decided to take it on the road.
If you would like to host a 'Tales Of A Troubadour ' evening then please
get in touch.

Suitable venues for this would be churches, theatres, private hire at
Starbucks, ships (in Naval, coastal or river areas)... whatever works for
your community.
I'd love to be able to bring this event to a destination near you Email
us at strum@davebilbrough.com and we can start a conversation.
God Bless
