Dear Friends,

Where you look depends on what you see! As I look around the Inspire network of churches there is lots of evidence of life and growth. We have churches outgrowing their buildings, churches merging with others in their area, building projects on the go, church planting happening!! And at the same time we have overbusy leaders, occasional relational strains and pastoral issues in churches and their leadership teams. Life is never dull or boring!

These last months have also seen some of the worst civil unrest across England for decades, affecting communities that a number of the Inspire churches are seeking to serve. What an opportunity to call community together, for our churches to serve for peace in prayer, in clear up activity, and in discussions with community leaders. Prayer meetings and active involvement have been part of at least four of the Inspire churches. Your prayers for these troubled areas and for our churches will continue to be much appreciated.

So, much to thank God for, and much to ask of Him. It's not only good to be together, pray together, learn together, worship and work together – it's vital! See you soon I trust and hope.
